Beef

Peter Coates personally selects only the best beef from local farmers and livestock markets for sale in our shops.

Once the meat is taken from our own modern EEC standard licensed abattoir (located at the back of our Alrewas premises) it is hung in our chill rooms for the required time to ensure it gains tenderness and full flavour.

Our beef is hung and air-aged for 21 days. When ready for use the meat is cut and prepared by our team of craftsmen butchers who are all highly skilled in producing all your favourite joints for our shops.
