Butchery School

Ever wondered how your meat is cut and prepared? Well why not come along and have a go for yourself?

For people who want to find out more about how their meat is prepared, and to learn some basic butchery skills, we run Butchery Schools at our Alrewas premises, giving the opportunity for an aspiring butcher of any level to get hands on experience with butchering meat.

The class makes the perfect present for your friends, family or even yourself. It is also popular with people with smallholdings wanting to learn how to butcher their own animals.

You will have the choice of butchering either half a lamb or half a pig which you are able to take home with you to enjoy at the end of the session!

The course costs £75 plus the cost of any meat which you have butchered.

Chainmail and full protective clothing are provided on the day.
