Specialities

We use only the highest quality meats to produce our speciality products in-store.

Sourcing from the best local farmers and carefully selected livestock markets, we keep food miles down and guarantee the quality and sustainability of the produce we sell. We require all our suppliers to observe the highest standards of animal welfare.

With our own abattoir in Alrewas, and a skilled team of master butchers, we are able to ensure that all the speciality produce we sell is prepared following best practice.

Sausages

All of our homemade sausages are produced onsite at our Alrewas premises including our famous Packington Porker sausages made to our own secret recipe.

There are also over 20 other gourmet flavoured sausages to choose from, usually with at least 12 different varieties available on any one day; we also produce gluten free to order.

When making all of our sausages we use the same quality meat as we would for your best Sunday joint and only use natural casings.

The sausages are also low in salt which we believe is better for both taste and for you.

Our sausages are so popular we make over 1 ½ tonnes a week!

Bacon & Gammon

We source our bacon from Packington Free Range, and cure and slice it ourselves.

We also cure and cook our own hams.

We even smoke our bacon over oak chips in our own, specially-installed bacon smoker.

Pies & Pastries

We produce a wide variety of baked products in our very own cookhouse, including:

  • Our famous jellied pork pies
  • Meat pies
  • Sausage rolls

All of our pies and pastries are freshly made in-store with the finest ingredients and organic flour.

Burgers

Hand made in house, using only the finest ingredients and carefully seasoned to bring out the best in flavours, our burgers are perfect for the barbecue! Our range of burgers includes:

  • Classic Beefburgers
  • Premium Steakburgers
  • Minty Lamb burgers
  • Chicken Burgers
  • Mini Burgers

Other types of burgers are available from time to time, such as our famous venison burgers or Moroccan lamb burgers.
